I have been practicing Massage since 2004. Prior to my work in massage, I was a Physical Therapy Aide and an Athletic Training Assistant. In college, I majored in Kinesiology and Speech Communication with a minor in Coaching. My passion has always been to assist the human body in healing and maintaining its optimal performance level. My passion in life has always been to help people, in any way I can. I became a Health Coach for that exact reason. I find myself surrounded by numerous people who look to me for advice, recommendations, referrals, etc, all centered around their individual health.

In 2009, I lost about 40lbs of unhealthy weight. My jump-start was a 9-Day Cleanse, where I lost 14lbs. The week after the cleanse, I did not know what direction to head to keep it off and continue losing (because I could not put my family through my horrible moods of being hungry any longer). It was the same year my buddy and I did the Tri for the Cure Triathlon in Colorado. Over a five month period, I lost 25 more pounds. I was working out 2-3 hours a day, 6-7 days a week and trying to eat smaller meals throughout my day. As soon as I stopped training, I began to add pounds back on.

. . now remember, I am active daily with my massage career and two children, so I did not just sit around, and I tried to continue working out, just shorter times and less often. It was at this point, I started the program that I am now coaching others to be successful with as well. I did not have much more weight to lose, but I also needed to be able to maintain my weight. I decided to do the weight loss program for two weeks, transition for one week, and then (and now) continue on with maintenance. During the weight loss phase, I lost 5 pounds a week.

The transition phase, I lost a couple more pounds as well. Now I am in maintenance and have not gone above my healthy BMI range since. What I love best about my program is that I am in complete control. I know what my body needs, and I can choose what are the best foods and snacks for me. I am aware more of my blood sugar level, so I do not have the moodiness anymore that used to plague me between meals. Aside from that, my energy level has increased dramatically. In February of 2010 (one year after I started my journey), I tested myself by not using any meal replacements and relying on myself to have the balanced healthy meals my body needs to thrive (since I know the foods, I know the portions).

The difference was astounding! I began to be impatient with my children, tired in the afternoons, worn out at work (enough that I thought about stopping massage all together), and I was constantly hungry; not to mention pounds started creaping back on. . . That was when I knew beyond a doubt that this program is the answer! I love being able to help people. I love knowing I am making a difference in their lives.
